Volunteer Management
Location: Remote

Role Description: The World Toilet Organization (WTO) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer to assist in managing and organising the volunteer database, supporting volunteer onboarding, enhancing volunteer retention and engagement, coordinating volunteer roles, and maintaining accurate volunteer documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Volunteer Database Management:
- Assist in maintaining a comprehensive volunteer database, including contact information, skills, interests, availability, and history.
- Regularly update and organize the database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Volunteer Onboarding Support:
- Assist the Volunteer Management Lead to develop and implement an efficient onboarding process, including orientation, training, and necessary paperwork.
- Ensure new volunteers receive the necessary information, resources, and support to start their roles successfully.
- Volunteer Retention and Engagement:
- Support strategies to enhance volunteer retention and engagement.
- Assist in conducting volunteer satisfaction surveys and utilize feedback to improve volunteer programs and initiatives.
- Volunteer Coordination and Deployment:
- Assist in matching volunteers with suitable roles based on their skills, interests, and availability.
- Maintain clear and timely communication channels with volunteers regarding upcoming opportunities, changes, or cancellations.
- Volunteer Documentation: Assist in maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, activities, and achievements for reporting and recognition purposes.
