Restroom Specialist Training Course (RSTC)
 The Restroom Specialist Training Course was developed in response to the growing concerns and demands for better restroom maintenance, improved hygiene and service standards. This training program was developed by The World Toilet College in collaboration with Japan's Public Toilet Maintenance Institute and Singapore’s National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) under the job redesign program.
It is supported by Singapore’s Skills Development Fund (SDF), Skills Redevelopment Programme (SRP) and accredited by Singapore Polytechnic.
This course is designed to transform and raise the standards of those who maintain restrooms to meet industry and customers’ demand for better service standards.
An RSTC graduate can provide the following benefits to an organization:
- Excellent Image - Restroom Specialist can help project an excellent image to a company by ensuring that restroom facilities always have a positive reflection to the business
- Enhanced service standards - Beyond what is offered by existing courses, cleaners will acquire more skills, increase the company capacity to provide value added services to customers at better standards.
- Operate independently - They require less supervision even as higher standards are achieved.
- Faster response - Trainees acquire additional skills to perform semi skill repairs, such as clearing chokes, so that they can respond faster to work situations and keep restrooms in good operating conditions at all times.
- Better approach - The Restroom Specialist Training Course achieves this by adopting a “Total Approach”. The course comprises of 5 core competencies that are essential for restroom maintenance. Theory lessons, which make up 25% of the course, include lectures, group discussions and role-plays while practical lessons include demonstrations and hands-on activities.

Duration: 48 hours (no training on Sat, Sun and Public Holidays)
